How to set profile avatar ?

please tell me the process of setting pic in profile………………in details….
looking forward to ur answers…………
can anyone tell me how to set profile pic?
Go to ‘Profile’ in the top menu, and scroll down. The last section is where you can edit your avatar settings.

i tried in this way,
first i chose a file and then tick on delet image to remove the old one…..
because i had another one…… then clicked submit…….. but i failed to see my pic……
i also tried Upload Avatar from a URL. but failed ……..
my pic size is 10.5kb…….
dat’s why i wanted to know the whole process………..

Remember this:
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 150 pixels, the height no greater than 150 pixels, and the file size no more than 12 KB.
and copy direct link of your avatar to “Link to off-site Avatar:”
All Sites where you can Upload Images.

select a pic u want to put as your avatar…then upload it on any free image hosting site and create a URL for it with its size less than 12 KB….its the maximum hat is allowed
