How to make a video impossible to copy

January 24th, 2020

Ok so everybody knows it. It’s super easy to rip a video from the internet.
There are tons of addons and if the addon is not powerful enough you still have Realflashplayer’s addon wich rip basically EVERYTHING from the internet.
What I would like to know is how to make a video impossible that would be impossible to RIP. Is there a format we can’t rip from yet? Or a website offering those services. I’ve been looking on the internet but didn’t find anything.
Hope someone can come with an answer or even suggestions
Thanks

You can’t… Even if you are able to hide the stream, the video can be recorded from the screen while it is playing.
Answer #2
You cant make it impossible but you can make it as hard as possible. Maybe make it low quality or small size or put a watermark on it or make it quicktime movie
Answer #3
or is there kind of DRM system for individual use, without setting up a million dollar company?
like, if i want to send some videos to some people (like for project work in school), but don’t want em to send the videos to others.
EDIT: i know it is still possible to copy, it’s just, they are no rocket scientists or so, they won’t even google stuff like “remove drm” or so. They will see it won’t work automaticaly and will just stop trying to watch it.
Answer #4
its just to simple to compy clips from the net.
Answer #5
Watermarks don’t do anything. There’s ways to remove Watermarks, the time it takes depends how long the video is.

anything that can be played can be recorded
yeah, but you will need to install screen capture software or something like that, and the people i want to send the videos to won’t even think of doing that, that i am sure. I just want to prevent em from sending the vid to other people, so watermarking aint gonna be an option.
I already tried to fool them in the past by sending the videos in a password protected rar, and it took em a while to figure out (seriously, i think about a month or so) that once you unpack it, you can send the video alone and not the .rar …
