How to copy from virtual machine to windows and vice versa

i hav ubuntu installed as a virtual machine on my win 7 using vmware workstation.
can u tell me how i can copy a file i created on my virtual ubuntu to win7 and vice versa.

Easiest way is to make a shared folder on Windows. Use that to copy files to and from the vm. Or you can try copy/pasting or dragging and dropping. This requires VMWare tools to be installed.
