How to check other forums if they are safe for sharing

I just did a whois search but it does not give me enough info.
How do guys know if you found another forum and wants to register and share there but not sure they are/nt government/anti-piracy organisations ?

sometimes can look around as a visitor …. if u not sure then don’t ..

actually i’ve found that most of my reported links are from W-BB
but its not any big deal as reupping isn’t hard

i would say test it out 1st
check the stats especially and the type of forum also
and just signup tempoerarily using temp email addr and proxy if you’re scared

Well I use to do trial and error till I found this site, this one had the less amount of trojan/virus detection. I mean I still ran into quite a bit of viruses here and I always report them, but this is the best about it. Just get some good AV and spyware tools and see where the less mess is.
