How to Capture pictures using DIGITAL Cam to PC
December 23rd, 2013
windows 7 64bit
thanks in advance
Transfer by a USB cable from the camera, or if you have a card reader on your pc, or external card reader use that to read the flash cards (Standard SD or SDHC ) from the camera.
Im not sure Ive never actually tried it, but If you have sony vegas or premiere pro or something, In the capture options you can choose a device, Not sure if you have your camera connected as if you were transferring photo’s or something that it would pick up and you could record to the comp :/ If your not good with fiddiling around and stuff I wouldnt bother looking in to it

From his post, I don’t know if he wants to simply transfer, or take photos whilst connected to his pc.
If he does want to do this latter method, he can use the Canon software that came on the cd with the camera.
some still cameras can be used as web cams if that’s what your asking
you just need to install the drivers and connect the camera via it’s USB cord
