help please lol, i dont know what to do

Answer #1
do you have any website hosting sw on your machine ? (iis, apache… etc) if so….. can you access your site by typing in your ip address from outside … if yes, great, if not… enable port forwarding in your router to your internal ip (port 80), and test again
next setup the dns in your domain’s control pannel …. this varies by each vendor… but basically you need to set the dns or hosts to point to your ip address
Answer #2
i can only access it from localhost, 127.0.0.1 and 192.168.1.5
the port is also opened in my router 80 and tcp
Answer #3
i just found something bad, i changed the cable of my internet in the router in an other lan thing this means my ip has changed, first it was 192.168.1.4 and now it was 192.168.1.5
gunna change it back now
edit: the ip things are ok now
what ip do i have to put at my domain settings?
im really confused lol
what is my public ip then?
the ip i can find on the websites when i search for “what is my ip” goes to my router settings
and 192.168.1.5 also is not the right ip… there are a lot of pcs with the same router that also have this ip
Answer #4
your public ip can be found at www.whatismyip.com this ip is what you put into the domain registar’s site … you shouldnt have to put this in your router … if your internal ip is changing, you may want to give yourself a static ip so you dont have to keep changing the port forward in the router
Answer #5
yes i got it from a site like that but then it gives me an ip… the ip of my router
and when i browse to that ip, my router opens…its the same as when i go to 192.168.1.1
Answer #6
hehe thats strange, it sounds like you have remote administration enabled on the router, and its set to port 80…. try disabling that and see if there is any difference
Answer #7
its not working
