Home theatre Pc setup

Hey guys just curious what htpc software do you guys use. Just had an old pc id like to turn into a home theatre pc. I gues plex and xbmc are the popular ones. Also looking for a software to download entire youtube playlist. it would also be helpful if said software can monitor playlists and automatically download newly added videos.

As far as I know, there are only three major HTPC Software packages: Windows Media Center, XBMC, and MythTV. For youtube playlist, Not really. You’d need a batch downloader that could somehow intercept all of the videos URLs and the videos would all still download one at a time. It might be possible to add multiple URLs manually, one at a time and one after the other, on some regular downloaders (I’ve never tried it) but then you’d have to wait for each individual item in the list to download and be converted.
