hide virus inside a mp3 file?

Cuz, im using this website called www.beemp3.com and im not sure whether there is virus inside the files, when u DL them, it is not packed in a rar file, its just the music file..
If its a .exe file,it is infected by a virus.But if its just a normal .mp3,then its clean.
just mp3 – which means its free, thx (:
