Help needed with Windows 7
January 23rd, 2020
– Is it possible to force Diskeeper 2008 into running on 7? Seeing as it’s the only working cracked 64-bit version and I’m not prepared to buy 2009.
– Refresh rates on my monitors are locked at 60hz and 75hz (with no other options no matter what I do, even with the likes of RefreshForce, NVidia control panel etc.). I want the refresh rates on both to be 72hz, as anything else is horribly flickery.
– Bitdefender 2009 refuses to start its firewall even following a reinstall.
– My start menu appears empty if it contains more than a certain number of shortcuts, and I’m not prepared to split it into extra folders.
I was using BitDefender but they haven’t made an update for that problem so i switched for a while
About DiskKeeper you can do anything except from using o & o or vopt for defrag they are both great
– no idea…
– did u try running diskeeper in WIN XP compatible mode?
– Did u install the updated drivers for your monitor?
– What size have you configured in your start menu?
- Firefox shows the "missing" (page) icon rather than the firefox logo in the taskbar.
Random bug with early builds around 7000. Never had it with any recent build.

No it doesn’t work. I use PerfectDisk. O&O works as well. Can’t say about the smaller brands.

RivaTuner
- Bitdefender 2009 refuses to start its firewall even following a reinstall.
Incompatible with Windows 7. Actually it’s one one the few that isn’t now. Almost everything else is.
- My start menu appears empty if it contains more than a certain number of shortcuts, and I'm not prepared to split it into extra folders.
Never had this problem.
– Seems to have stopped now – Moved to O&O – I’ve had bad experiences with perfectdisk – Even RivaTuner failed to change the refresh rate (well, it left me with one screen at 640×480 )
– Gonna keep it just for the antivirus, seeing as I paid for the license and it would go to waste otherwise.
– Gave up on the all programs menu and moved to Launchy instead
So, I still need a fix for the refresh rate
EDIT: Trying forceware 181.71, apparently downgrading helps with this bug :/
How to Force DVI or HDMI Resolutions and Refresh Rates in Windows 7

Seems that a lot of win7 users have this problem. Myself: I cant set monitor resolution to 1900×1200 native optimal. . But I found a different workaround than the solution I give above. I set it to 1920×1200 and then changed monitor settings to 16:9 instead of 16:10 .
Go here, and those guy will help you for sure… If you have any problem just search there or post in a new topic and they will answer to you ASAP! Cheers mate P.s. ( I Hope that you will solve your problem, cuz my Win 7 RC 1 works like charm.. PERFECT! )
