Having trouble with downloads

I haven’t been on here much since Christmas, but lately everytime I try to download a file (movie, program, etc) the links are all dead. Is this a trend or is it just me?
I have an account with FileServe, but none of the links I find with them seems to be valid anymore.

Fileserve, Filesonic and Megaupload are dead, move on to Rapidshare or MediaFire.

what do you mean dead? They are no longer operating? because I can still access the files I have on their system, and they are still taking my money lol.
Which is the better server? RS or MF?

Megaupload was shut down by the U.S. Government… Fileserve and Filesonic are now only allowing the uploader to download their own file. No more sharing.

They are still online, but they don’t allow filesharing anymore.
Rapidshare is more popular than MediaFire, and MediaFire is good enough for free users, so no need to get a premium account with them.

Yup rapidshare and mediafire are the best right now. But on this site. U will find rapidshare links.
Like I said before
No need for a rapidshare premium account. Rapidshare already gives you great download speed has free user.
Jdownloader + rapidshare = happy ppl
