doesnt anyone know the solution??
Answer #3
check the box of the graphics card if you still have it, or download EVEREST (search on ) and use it to see all details of you’re graphics card.
P.S: Stay with XP, it’s more stable at the moment
Answer #4
Vista on 128mb. It’s just not worth it. You’ll be wanting another upgrade before you know it.
256mb on XP best way personally.
Answer #5
itz an onboard graphics card….. so i dont have any boxes…..
Answer #6
Download “Everest” and check, it can be found on .
Answer #7
OMG!!!
OMG!!!
i installed everest!!
then in everest, i click on display, windows video and it sayz the memory size is 64 MB. ive done correctly right??
if so, im confused now whether it is 256 in XP or 128 in Vista or 64 in Everest??
Someone plz. clarify…
Answer #8
IF you have an onboard card, it might share the ram with your video card. Maybe it’s a system setting, what amount of ram it can use. But it won’t explain the everest-phenomenon.
Answer #9
i believe the xp said, since vista have alot of problem (bug)
Answer #10
yes.
it shares 64 MB with my RAM….
so?
Answer #11
anyone who helpz me solve this problem will win a RS acc. for 10 dayz……
Answer #12
the onboard is shared so it grabs ram and uses it as video memory when it needs it that’s why you’re getting different results.
Answer #13
but the RAM alwayz remainz at 448 MB constant…….
howz that???
then by wat u say i can even use 400 MB from the RAM for graphicz???
Answer #14
Vista will lie to you about RAM usage, Microsoft has made deals with companies so people buy better hardware.
Answer #15
i suggest you should add more ram cards in your computer so you could make it more faster buy like 2 1gb ram and put it on.
Answer #16
you have 256 MB card, because of vista have some “better” ways much it take from RAM to save RAM to run win(500MB for running windows )…..so XP took his maximum
so you have LOCAL MEMORY: 64 MB plus shared memory: 192 MB….. and thats it 256 MB’s
