Football Manager 2009 stream install

Does the software Football manager need to be launch while online Is it possible to set it up with no internet connected,
because is there some stream option that needs to be accounted for while installing.

A far as I know…You get 2 options while installing…Steam and non steam…And no internet connection needed for single player…
