I think ur tv doesnt support the video.The file you downloaded might be the same release even though provided by different users.
If its playable in ur computer it will be playable if u convert it to a more general format maybe AVI or MP4
If it’s an older TV. then an XviD (.avi) version might work better..
What sort of files do you normally play?

thanks for all of your replies, i now stream from my pc through chromecast so dont need to worry about the usb anymore!!
I dont know what chromecast is… but I dont know why more peps dont use there TV as their monitor.. I spend most time looking at my 44 inch LCD and love it!! HDMI link and 1080p so why not??

exactly. with a wireless mouse and keyboard, optical sound/hdmi video out on a system that can support heavy processing for example dts br’s, it basically kills the need for a cable tv bill, which pretty much pays for the internet given my remote location (the reason the internet bill is relatively high).
edit: home theater sound with subwoofer is a must for my part (7.1)
