File not found

August 8th, 2016

hi, hope you can help. i have recently downloaded “It Follows” and when i transfer to my usb to watch via my tv it comes up with file not found, wrong format. I have tried downloading off different people but it will not play. I never normally get any problems with downloading. Can anyone explain this to me please.

I think ur tv doesnt support the video. The file you downloaded might be the same release even though provided by different users.
If its playable in ur computer it will be playable if u convert it to a more general format maybe AVI or MP4
Answer #2
If it’s an older TV. then an XviD (.avi) version might work better..
What sort of files do you normally play?

This, try an mkv, XviD or mp4 specifically, then you will know what works best.

exactly. with a wireless mouse and keyboard, optical sound/hdmi video out on a system that can support heavy processing for example dts br’s, it basically kills the need for a cable tv bill, which pretty much pays for the internet given my remote location (the reason the internet bill is relatively high).
edit: home theater sound with subwoofer is a must for my part (7.1)
