Facebook Data Protection Act.

April 14th, 2014

Hi, I have recently searched my name on google (images)
And a picture of me has appeared, Now seeing as my facebook is private and this is not my display picture, this is against the data protection act 1998.
How on earth have facebook allowed google to put my picture in public? for anyone to search my name?

Answer #1
Let me quote this
If you remove the image from Facebook, Google will also remove the image from its index. If you don't want to let everybody see your photo, just don't post it on social websites or at least set your profile private.
However you can request them

Answer #2
Make your album private. And your account private.
Answer #3
My whole facebook is private and has been deleted for past months …
This goes against facebooks Promise, and breaks the protection act.
I want 10000000 off facebook for breeching my privacy to public
Answer #4
Well even if you make your account / album as private , Google will index it yet ..
There is no way to block . If you upload anything on Facebook , automatically it will appear on Google search.
Answer #5
I suggest you fix your photobucket a/c as well (Rude Boi)
Answer #6

Dont steal topic lol This is about my picture being on google.
Facebook has broken rules, broken law, and this leads to is any other info available to public by using a simple search engine. “google”.
Out Ragous. It defeats the whole “make your profile private” option[/quote]
