Email Password
April 15th, 2014
I have an email adress(….@live.com) and i didn’t use it for some time,and somehow i don’t know but i can’t use it.
I know the password but i think maybe someone changed it.
I want to return it using secret question/answer.
I try in hotmail there but there isn’t this part secret question/answer
Any help…how can i return my emails pass using secret question/answer?
Thank u
Just go to recover password, it will give you 2 options then another few so on just keep clicking what relates to you. it should be there.

you have one option to add an alternate email there.
have you added ?
if yes, you can redeem your password on your alternative email account
i looked up everywhere there but there are some questions and i answered them …but in a return I got a message that tells not enought info,u know….it says that they couldn’t verify that i’m the owner of my own email..
maybe someone stole my email and changed everything there…who knows…
If anyone has any idea please share.
if no thanks anyway
Try resetting by going to: https://maccount.live.com/ac/resetpwdmain.aspx
The above link means you only need the secret answer to the question that you supplied when you created the account.
In the few months/years, MSN have been removing accounts and freeing them up to be created again. People have noticed this and have started creating emails addresses that used to exist. Why? Because they can have website accounts assigned for them. For example, if you have your Paypal account linked to a hotmail address and they have deleted your account – someone can create it, go to Paypal and say they lost their details and then request your details to be sent to the email.
Watch out in future!
