downloading

how does Microsoft, cable companies, and others use the setting in my computer to stop me from downloading video and tv video from the internet
I had real downloader working now it does not
I had speed bit working and now it does not
how do you download video on a Linux
I have look on the net and Linux stores but have not found any
help please

In general, they don’t block the download – they never offer it in the first place.
They stream the video in little parts so that you never have access to the entire file. The only way to capture the video is to use a screen capture program like Bandicam for example.
