Does the Resistance 3 Co-op require a new or used code?

You need a new code for online co-op.
The only way you can use a used code, is if you now the sign in email and password of the person that used it, then you can sign in using their details on your system then go to psn store and then to downloads (in the top right) find he resistance download and download
