Difference Between Alienware and Normal Laptop?

June 25th, 2020

Apart from the fact that they have High Performance Components as Standard and they have a glowing alien on the Front of the Laptop, is there any difference in the usability of laptop like if it’s got a extended battery life or the keyboard is good quality etc.
I know there will be plenty of Alienware Owners on a forum like this so i’d like to hear from you why you bought one of their laptops over a normal one with similar specs :mrredhat:

A performance laptop will always have terrible battery life. A couple hours max, much less if you’re gaming. IMO a gaming laptop is stupid, use a desktop to game, use a laptop to carry with you.

Yeah, I agree
alienware looks cool, plus its a symbol of 1337 status,
unless youre attending lotsa lan parties, noones ever gonna care

Alienware is overpriced. If you want high performance, go straight to the company that actually makes the laptops that Alienware sells: Sager

Fully loaded with Quadcore, SLI and RAID5, its about $5K

My Alienware M17x (Windows 7 pro) lasts two to two and a half hours WHILE playing a game on full performance settings, all of the lights on (keyboard, custom mouse, touchpad, seakers, logo, full brightness), and two graphics cards enabled.
