Cannot Install Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP SP3

I tried to install IE8 on Windows XP SP3. It did ask to install Update for Windows XP (KB932823) before IE8 will install. The problem is, Update for Windows XP (KB932823) won’t install on Windows XP SP3 because it is for Windows XP SP2. Anyone have any solution?

1. Uninstall SP3
2. Download and install KB932823
3. Install IE8
4. Re-install SP3

SP3 uninstall procedure not easy. its very difficult.
so use Safari, firefox, or Chrome.
