What do you think at the start of each sogn a voice sayign my websites name?
Does anybody have any needs or advice?
Thanks

To be honest if i downloaded a song and it had a jingle dubbed in id probably go elsewhere , if your music selection is extensive then your on to a winner , passwording files with your url may also draw more interest , as well as adding your url to the mp3s “comment” section.

Thanks dude
Answer #3
Yeah three is right, for the site me and my friend had, we put the password as the site, so people that leeched came to our site eventually.
Adding a .txt in the rar might help too.
Thanks for downloading from (sitehere) Come join our community etc etc

ive downloaded songs like that before, this is a ……….com exclusive, did not really like it, like the person said make it zip and have your name in the zip as a .html link, or a text, or get creative and make it a rar and customize it with your site name.
Answer #5
yea, but DO NOT name all the songs prefixed with your site name
eg.
www.thissite.com-artist-album-track-name.mp3
this becomes really really annoying and i dont download from these sites because of this reason
Answer #6
will be more Arist - Song Title (site name).mp3
I think i will just have the site in the album title and comments. I think that everyone is happy that way.
Answer #7
how do i sought out the problem of copyright?
Answer #8
to do it legally you need to get a license
Answer #9
i was thinking site is only for promotional use, coudnt i just put that as a disclaimer or the files are not upped by me?
Answer #10

you mean you want a legit one? well for alot of them you dont, if you upload it to your site you need the express permission of the record company that owns the song, they are in for the money and would sue if you make money off your website.
Answer #11
not a legit one. Seen sites having disclaimers. Any ideas?
