About torrent

October 28th, 2018

I am not much of a torrent user. I usually go for links like clicknupload or hugefiles. sometimes I buy premium too.
My question is:
While torrent is downloading files to ons hard disk, how can we be sure that it is not uploading other contents from ones hard disk?
there is a possibility right?
But millions of people use torrent out here. Not all of them can be fooled?

Moved to correct section for you this time.

Answer #2
A torrent file only downloads the file hash that is connected to it, it won’t (and can’t) access any other data on your computer. But as with everything, know where you download from.
Answer #3
there should be an option for the which folder you can let the torrent client to use it where you become seed for the files inside of that folder. and unless the torrent client you use has a vulnerability or a rogue software , nothing out of that folder can be reached.
