Good question, I got the BlackBox repack from the board and I was wondering if that version was “modding” friendly? Not necessarily the ones coming from Steam, just random fan-sites like Skyrim Nexus….

The 2500K has an unlocked multiplier allowing for higher overclocks by raising the multiplier. The 2500 only allows for a 41x multiplier as its highest.
Sandybridge’s overclocking is essentially based on its multiplier, so the difference in the overclockability between the two is significant.
