Kaspersky or for freeware avira with comodo firewall and superantispyware.Both combinations can do the job

Get linux, then your system wont need AV and it wont be slow down. Or use Avira is light AV and its the best one out there. Its offered for free too.

You also need SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes both are freeware. Then get a freeware firewall like Comodo and you be set.

I use Avira Antivir. Never slowed down my computer and it’s a wicked fast scanner with a high detection rate.
