American McGee’s Alice Blue Bar Problem

I have Windows 7, and I guess that matters – whenever I turn the game on and start playing, the blue bar is in the middle of screen, I can’t see red bar, and surroundings flicker. Also, the game won’t run properly if I increase the resolution, but I don’t mind that.
Help please!

could just be a bad copy of the game or a crack didnt work too well…could actually be a couple problems…your specs etc…
