Monopoly: player goes bankrupt, who gets their property?

Okay if Player A goes bankrupt because of debt towards bank, and he has some property, where does the property go? Does it need to be mortaged? And if the player is still bankrupt, the bank gets the property back? And then what? auctions it?
If player A goes bankrupt because of debt towards player B, does player B get all of player A’s property? will it be mortaged or not?
