System slows down when DL’ing from IDM

Guys,
Has any of you noticed any system slow downs when downloading using IDM? I noticed my system slows down dramatically because when I drag my mouse to other parts of the windows, it lags, or stops for a second and moves, then stops again. This only happens when I am downloading from IDM. My WiFi speed is great, download speed is great also, just my system slows down when I try to navigate the board with my mouse….weird?

CPU usage may be up because of download acceleration. Can you run IDM and paste a screen of your Task Manager Performance tab?

CPU Usages is pretty low during download…..I will monitor more when I do more downloads….

Ye. Try doing some downloading with it and show me screenies then. It would be interesting to see if it affects it. Your RAM is high. What have you got running?

If you download lots of files simultaneously your CPU will be quite up which will cause your system to slow down considerably

Ok cool….well, that one was just one download…..again, I’ll monitor for multiple downloads…..I never seen this happened on Flashget. I enjoyed IDM so much better. Problem with Flashget, now, is that a remote IP Address keeps blocking Malicious IP, it just means that an address wants to gain access to the system. Which was weird…..Any version of flashget 3.0 and up does this, but older version does not….
Hence the reason why I made the switch to IDM, ever better quality anyway….
