Ripping music from Spotify

August 23rd, 2013

I know I can download tracks from here, but Spotify has some tracks that are mad hard to find. I can’t believe that with it’s widespread use no one has made a program that rips music or decrypts your cached songs.
Either way, what programs can I use that can record the 320 kbps audio from Spotify without loss of track quality? I’ve searched on this multiple times over the past year and I always get the same spam blogs. Decided I should just ask for help haha.

No one has any input on this? I feel like we’re missing a treat in easy access to download music, having a program that streams them right onto your computer?
Answer #2
Easy way to get caught now? Since that the DMCA is looking at the Obama Goverment to have tighter restrictions on Streaming music?

are you talking about “to download a streaming music / video” ? If you, try Internet Download Manager…

In case it’s impossible to save the stream, you could just record the “what you hear” or whatever it’s called, to record the sound that is currently playing. If you save it as WAV, there is no loss in quality from what it was when playing. If you make it into another MP3, it will be “double compressed” and will be worse quality.

I use to rip music music with Audacity.
If you can hear it, you can record it =D
The only issue is its real time, you have to play the whole song,
To have the whole song recorded, and quite manual work as well.
EDIT: Just saw the OP’s date, sigh…
