Is that becuase I got some software missing on my PC?
You need to use a freeware called HJ Split to join them.

Use the program I have linked you to above, it’s called HJSplit and is a freeware, it should do the trick.
Don’t use HJSplit just yet…Post what is it you are trying to extract and maybe the link to where you downloaded…They could be Winrar files and you use HJSplit it might scew it up…

I can extract only cad2k9ess.iso.001, but I can’t extract cad2k9ess.iso.002 upto cad2k9ess.iso.006 for the AUTOCAD ESSENTIAL TRAINING pack, if I try to extrac cad2k9ess.iso.002, it will say “Cannot open cad2k9ess.iso.002 ” from 7ZIP, since that’s the program I am trying to use.
You only extract from the .001…Winrar takes care of the rest of the parts..Just make sure all the parts are in the same folder..
Are they HJ-split files, sure they are myself, i dont use hj-split files any more though. get hj split, put it in the same place as your files, click join, choose .001 file, it will do the rest. post a screenie of your files.

when i start hj split it stops working on my vista ultimate x64 (i have 2 sets of files 1s rar.001 and the others a mkv.001)
Open with winrar, that should do the trick
just use winrar. It worked for me when i was extracting Prototype.
same for the mkvs?
mkv is a movie container, what’s the complete file name (including extention)?
94.mkv.001 i tried it on the rars and it said unexpected end of archive or something like that :/
that mkv should be able to open with hjsplit, make sure you have the latest version to avoid any problems.
yeah it should be able to work with the program but the program its self wont work it automatically stops right off the bat
Seems it has compatibility issues with 64 bit then, can you run it in compatibility mode for 32 bit? Also, try GSplit, it’s freeware and it’s supposed to work with those files to.

and neither is g split :/ i get it running but it wont join the files cause they weren’t split by g split
Did you try GSplit?
yeah i got it fixed (incase anyone else is having this problem) i just downloaded an older version (2.2 found here –>http://www.kompukit.com/download/HJSplitSetup.exe) and i used that installer to INSTAL hj split instead of the other links from hj split that was just an exe
