Installing Windows 7 to a netbook?

January 30th, 2020

I just downloaded Windows 7 and I’m looking to put it on a thumbdrive to install on my new Acer netbook. I have the program from Windows that allows you to use the thumbdrive, but no ISO file is in the folder, so I can’t. How do I crate an ISO file so I can install Windows 7? Is there a certain program I have to use to create an ISO file? Remember, I don’t have a DVD drive. Thanks!

I’m using the program you had me install. I see the ISO file I need to use. I need to make it so it will work and show up for the Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool and I’ll be able to put it on a thumbdrive so I can use it to install Windows 7. There are 3 options. 1) Burn CD/DVD with ISO (which I can’t use), 2) Make CD Image File from CD-ROM, and 3) Make Boot Image File from floppy disc. Which one do I use and how do I do it so I can make it so it is an ISO file that can go on my USB stick? Thanks! Sorry for the confusion.
