Torrent Problem (18 out of 140 seeds connected.)

Hey guys.
I’m getting a slow transfer rate. there are 140 seeds in the swarm, and I’m only connected to 10. Similar thing with peers, over 150, and i’m only connected to 15-16.. uTorrent says my network’s green (NAT and everything’s clear) I forwarded the ports correctly, they are reachable using the website tool… Anyone know what I can do to increase my speeds?.. (Torrents from Demoniod btw.. Yeah, I know, but I don’t have a better tracker)

demonoid is your problem. no, you can’t increase your speeds. it all depends on the person uploading. i also don’t think you can fix your connection problem if you say youre getting the green light and ports are forwarded properly. make sure you have DHT turned off, have encryption turned on and run Peerguardian 2 if youre downloading from public trackers. it won’t help increase your speed but it will give you a little bit of protection

Can you check on the Preferences > Bandwidth and change “Maximum number of connected peers per torrent” to 150 and “Global maximum number of connections” to 300
If you feel a slowdown on your internet after doing these, just adjust it to a lower number of connections

Total connection’s been set at 1000, and per torrent’s been at 200. There’s no slow down of the internet (nothing that affects me, my brother’s been lagging a bit in CoD online, but I don’t care much.)
