What is a 1:1 Frame Rate?

Hi. I’ve seen this option in the rendering options for Sorenson Squeeze (along with 1:2, 1:3, etc,), but I’m not sure what it is. Also, I’d like to match the frame rate of the original movie, but Premiere says it’s 28.01 fps?? Thanks for any help.

I think it’s:
1:1 = original frame rate
1:2 = half the frame rate
1:3 = one third of the frame rate etc.
