guys i hve purchased new cpu i7 2600 bt my old card not able to play battlefield 3 pls suggest me new gfx card under 150$ which can easily play battefield 3 or nfs run smoothly

HD 6850 is probably the best you will do at that price.

You have a 2600 but want to cut back on a graphics card? I’d agree with the above mentioned 6850. However, if you want to play it “smoothly” I’d suggest that you’d get the “recommended” graphics card which is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or the AMD Radeon HD 6950.

I’d say a HD 6850 or GTX 460.
A GTX 560 or a HD 6870 would be better (if you can find it in your price budget).

Get a 6970 they are very good! and gone down a bit in price lately or wait until the 7 series comes out. Nvidia are still overpriced like crazy atm so I wouldn’t bother with one of them.

Wait for the HD 7xxx series as their benchmarks look great. You might NOT find them in your price range, but their release might trigger a price correction and you might find some other card for a cheaper price.
For now, HD 6850 is the best in your budget.
If you wish to buy a Graphics card then consult the chart below and try to buy a card as high in the chart as possible by your budget. Before you buy a new card, make sure that your case and power supply can accommodate it.

Well that’s 150$ wasted imho if you buy it now, now of all times. Why now? Why do you get yourself a new desktop-hi-end cpu and go combine it with a 1y old mid-range gpu while the next-gen gpus are knocking at the front door?
Nevertheless the 6850 will get your games rather smooth in ur budget.
