[SOLVED] USB device won’t show up on mac?

Can anybody help me please I have been using the same USB device with my mac for the last 3 months now all of a sudden this morning I plugged it into my computer and it won’t show up in the finder? I was using this same USB on this laptop just last night and now for no apparent reason it just refuses to show up yet when I take it out of the computer it says the USB has not been ejected properly so annoying. So please can someone help.
I have also tried two other USBs in the same laptop none of which show up. Then I tried these other USBs on another computer and they work fine. I need this working today because I have some important things I need to get onto my computer.

Have a look in Disk Utility does it show up?
Maybe a Restart of your computer?
Download Latest Updates?
