Can Android Apps encrypt a video file?

I have an Android app which plays a few videos in its own player.
I can see all the videos in Memory, categorized in folders.
These videos does not have any extensions and when I try to play it in VLC or GOM, it doesn’t play.
These videos are majorly split into small chunks of 15 – 20 mb each.
Is there any way we can figure out how to play these in PC ?
or any other android methods you could think of?
Any small help would be really appreciated!

What is this android app called?
its a private for our college which plays the lectures stored in it named “com.lotuspond.rad.lectures”
Maybe upload a movie file so we can test it.
Hey buddy, as a start I would try the old thing with extensions. Try to give it some known extensions like *.avi *.mp4 ….. But the best would be to upload some of these as told you so
