Your Domain name needs DNS records so that when people type it in it directs them to your server. So you need the domain name to be hosted somewhere that will allow you access and control of your Domain Name System (DNS) etc. Didnt the DNS come in an email when you bought it?
Think of it like a phone number that is attached to your name, when people call it, it is linked to your phone. But your Telecommunications company needed to put that record into their system so the number and phone know they are related
The easiest way would be to TRANSFER, put the domain name in the top box.
Place name only in top box i.e “mydomainname”
Then in the drop down to the right of it choose the extension i.e. .com .net .org and click search
Follow the instructions. OR Enter the complete domain name in the bottom box, click continue and the web host will tell you what DNS settings you need to change your domain name to. After changing your domain name DNS it takes a while to propagate. I have experienced immediate change and I have had to wait 48 hours, depends on the company. Until propagation you will not see anything when you type your domain name into a browser.

Generally the web host you are about to sign up to will ask you to set your domain name to the DNS settings for their server (example at bottom) You then need to either go to your domain name supplier (if leaving it there) and change the DNS to what is provided by the web host OR, if you Transfer your domain name to your web host, in the web host interface settings make the settings changes if they don’t automatically do it on transfer.
The addresses for the DNS settings will look something like this: (Example only DNS addresses vary but usually start with ns#)
    ns1.domain.name-services.com
    ns2.domain.name-services.com
    ns3.domain.name-services.com
    ns4.domain.name-services.com

Its not that hard just take your time and ask or google. What host is that pic from?

Trading is not allowed. -
#3.21 Trades of any kind and selling are two things that are not allowed here. To break it down in simple terms, it's considered a trade any time the situation is "If you do this, I'll do that" and selling is offering a product, service, etc. for money. The staff do not appreciate members trying to get around these rules, so please avoid attempting to do so.
