I had just got a xbox 360 for Christmas and i got the pro system. Now im pretty sure it came with a gold pass that i have to register? How would i find where my gold pass is and how i register it for xbox live?

you create an xbox live account through the dashboard, it starts off as a silver acount. it will upgrade automatically to gold though since its a free trial. you dont need to worry about credit cards and all that to begin with.
also, i believe you can create up to 3 silver accounts with 30 days gold each on one console – if i remember correctly.

Your best off just buying a gold pass, worth it
