Windows 8.1 update dsappeared from metro store

Hi
The other day i saw the new windows 8.1 update in the metro store.
I didnt have time to download it at the time.
Now when I go to the store, the update is gone.
I’m running a laptop, not a tablet.
Any ideas, ?

Go on Windows 8 official website and find a link to metro. Should be straight forward.

I think that was just the tablet version?
I managed to find the download on the microsoft website and have installed.
It seems fine so far..

The 8.1 update has only been revoked for RT using devices. Normal windows 8 devices can still get the update

It’s probably not showing up on pirated copies of win8. Only genuine activated users are getting the update.

That’s bollocks. Pirated copies get updates just the same. They always have. It’s one of microsofts policies. Because insecure pirated copies hooked up to the net are just as bad as insecure legitimate copies. Everyone gets updates

Found a trick that activate Windows 8 Pro and let me download the update from the MS store. Running those activators somehow didn’t allow that to happen.
