Wii Question

Just got a Wii… I understand you can dl games for the Wii..
Do I need a special MOD chip or anything? How does it work?
Is it simply DL and burn and it works?

You can either get a mod chip or do a soft mod. Cannot just download and play. New wiis are reported not to work with DVDR discs so I understand you have to run games from an external hard drive or flash drive. There are plenty of guides to soft mod wiis and I have successfully done about twenty.

You also need to take note of what system menu you have as most guides are specific to a certain system menu. If you go to wii settings it will tell you in the corner of the screen. Most recent is 4.2 but I would advise if you do soft mod to set it to 4.1 as 4.2 menu was released to try to disable soft mods.
