Why does my download go fast then slow down?

hey guys. im using mega manager on mu. when downloading.
the problem im getting is it starts out around 1700-2000 kbs.
then all of a sudden starts dropping to around 200-300?
any reason why this is. just did a speed test and said. its
34.48mbps (whatever that means) im not that up to date with all the computer jaz.
some days i can download 3-4 movies at a time all at 2,000 kbs
any help would b greatly appreciated

It depends the hour of the day. It is called “traffic shapping” and it is a trick used by ISP company’s. In rush hours (the time when most people go surf the web) they slow down the speed so everyone can have access at moderate speed. It is ilegal by the way, but they do this. Try start a download at 22h and then watch the speed. Probably around mid night it will boost. Here in my country only around 0h00m the speed is boosted to my contracted speed.
It all happens becouse they (ISP) does not have the requirement equipment to support the contracted speed of all their clients if the clients decide to use full speed connection at the same time.

as violetblood said its usually because of the traffic in your host or the website….this wont last long
it’ll usually come back to normal in an hour or two

it'll usually come back to normal in an hour or twoi never had those kind of drops in speed except mu !When i use leech sites the speed is back & constant
