my current spec.. =-
cpu – amd athlon II 245 3.4Ghz
Ram – 1GB ddr667 gfx – Onboard graphic HD3200 which one should i upgrade first?
gfx or the ram?

Answer #1
Ram - 1GB ddr667
never heard of that :p only ddr1, 2 and 3 but anyways make sure your mobo has PCI express and not VGA, then make a choice of the video card according to your budget, if u have the budget for a high-end card the i would suggest buying a mid-range card and giving the rest of it to your memory
then make sure your psu can handle your new gfx card
for the ram i would say go for ddr2, and maybe a set of 2x2GB (depening on what OS u have, because 32-bit does only support up to 3.25GB and not 4 and 64bit supports 4GB and more)
so tell us what u want or what u would choose. and i’m think that ur ram will do for now and getting a gfx card would be wise and then just save some money and buy some memory memory isn’t so expensive just get the memory asap after your bought the GFX card
Answer #2
RAM first, that way it will minimizes the strain on your system with the new card
Answer #3
Upgrade the RAM as you’ve not got enough to be doing anything with there. Also, , DDR-667 is DDR2
Answer #4
Get yourself a new RAM first…Corsair or Kingston will be good…then go for a good graphic card
Answer #5
Go with the ram, but unfortunately for you DDR ram is expensive!!! I have a HTPC that uses DDR and I’m considering on just replacing the mobo and upgrading to DDR3 cause DDR is too expensive and its only going to get more expensive.
Answer #6
go ram 1st
Answer #7
go RAM, u have a medium graphic card for a while
Answer #8
first 2gb ddr2 ram. you will then have 3gb, you can allocate 1gb to your built in gfx, but i suggest you to upgrade gfx so as not to strain the ram more and play decent games.
Answer #9
2Gb ddr2 ram with a good gfx card, but be sure to upgrade the ram first.
Answer #10
HD3200, hm that is a 780G chipset. Option for cheap DDR2 800 2GB sticks and put 2 in.
The video card wlll be PCI-E, so its fine. Throw in a 4670.

ddr/ddr1=200,266,333,400mhz
ddr2=530,667,800,1066mhz
ddr3=not sure XD
anyways thx for the suggestion..
Answer #12
ddr2=530,667,800,1066mhz ddr3=not sure XD
isn’t 1066 DDR3? others are 1333 and 1600.. I think To answer the question, RAM first. You don’t wanna get a nice new fancy GPU just to find out that windows is pagefiling everything during games (nothing slows a game down more than pagefiling).
