PSP wont boot into pandora menu……could be a NAND issue?

January 26th, 2020

hi
just returned to the psp scene and was on 3.40 oe and so i decided just to use a pandora to get up to date.
at first it worked with a CMD made magic memory stick 3.80 m33 and a dealextreme pandora battery.
it would give an error during the installation after 5 seconds and switch off and i tried again and it worked.
but once the installation had finished my psp wont boot even with pandora battery- just a green LED.
the memory card is 2gb and i have used them before with the same batteries purchased from dealextreme with the CMD method and no problems…..
how can i fix my psp?
is it a NAND problem?
how can i boot into DCv7 or pandora menu……
any help would be greatly appriciated!
thanks

So now ur psp has custom firmware.. right??
The LED is working but not the screen, means that u have a semi-brick.
Try to go into recovery mode by pressing R while turning it on.
But first remove the pandora battery and use normal battery.

ok- il test.
Answer #3
nope- still no recovery mode – just green light

First turn off psp by holding the off switch for 5-7sec.
Then press R and then turn on the switch.

U have a pandora battery and card.
Try to boot again by pandora method. Pandora is the only way u can recover from a full-brick!

Have you used that EXACT same Mem stick to boot up Pandora before? Not the brand but that ACTUAL mem stick.
Ive head some mem sticks that arent SOny PSP original can work on the PSP but dont have the capibilty to boot up with Pandoora, but will work fine save games etc etc..
If you have just a green solid light as soon as you insert pandora then its not a full brick.
Have you tried to boot up PSP without the battery and just running off AC adaptor?
If it doesnt boot up you have a brick, if it does then its the mem stick.
