please HELP !!!!!!!!!!!

Answer #1
Try clicking on the ! ones and select uninstall and then reboot.
Otherwise go to your motherboard manufacturers support site and get the chipset drivers from there..
Answer #2
Try the chipset drivers from your motherboard manufacturer..
Edit: ooooops..Already mentioned by
Answer #3
They are intel ich7
You need the intel chipset drivers.
Get this
http://www.filefactory.com/file/4r5okpe4o8l/Intel_Inf_Install_940_1022_rar
Unpack it to a new folder, run the !!Run This cmd
Answer #4
thanks but still the same problem after i installed the the Intel chipset from !!Run This cmd
Answer #5
Damn – that usually fixes it for me if I have USB issues.
Still – having those chipset ID things won;t do any harm, so you’re safe there.
Mmmm… *runs off to think some more*
So far the only consensus is:
uninstall ALL the usb ports and delete drivers if it asks you to. (Oh – make sure ALL USB devices are unplugged beforehand).
then reboot
then re-run the inf install (you can run the setup.exe now – all the cmd file did was call setup with the “-overall” command).
I can’t find anything else.. I’ll keep looking.
Answer #6
thanks for your time
Answer #7
do as says mate. but also consider a full virus check.
sometimes, you will spend weeks/months trying to find a solution that works, without success.
if you spend this amount of time, i always suggest a reformat/re-install. i dont keep too many important things on my pc. in case of failure with no chance of return. not good for everyone, just depends on how you run your pc.
good luck.
Answer #8
still no luck
Answer #9
USB is a very simple thing for an operating system.
So, if these fixes haven’t worked and they are still faulty – it MIGHT be hardware failure on the port itself.
Are the other ports working and just those ones dead, or all dead?
Answer #10
it MIGHT be hardware failure on the port itself.
I can only partially agree with that.
Yep, It could be hardware related, But it’s very unlikely to be a faulty port.
If anything, It’d be a motherboard problem (As that’s what actually providing the connectivity itself, A port is just a port!)
Normally, A USB port will not go bad unless you use excessive force and physically damage it.
Anyways, The easiest way to get this checked would be using a Linux Live CD and test the USB ports from there.
Edit: Another possibility is a bad PSU, If it’s providing unstable 5V voltage, It might be the cause. This can easily be tested with a digital multimeter.
Answer #11
could it be a power supply problem -all USB ports are dead
Answer #12
you might have conflicting resources or not enough for the USB ports to work. WHEN did this happen? did you install software or go into the BIOS and make changes before this happened?

To be honest, that’s what i meant.
I meant the “port” as in the connection and all hardware required to run it (motherboard problem).. rather than the physical port itself.
could it be a power supply problem -all USB ports are dead
But he did say
any usb device automatically disconnect like ANY flash drive
which I took as ‘they connect then auto-disconnect’ – that usually indicates hardware errors.
Answer #14
no i didn’t change any thing in the bios -but do you think updating the bios would help ?
Answer #15
no i didn't change any thing in the bios -but do you think updating the bios would help ?I’d check Microsoft for windows updates. they may have driver updates for the motherboard or USB. first.. then you can check into a BIOS update. btw, how old is your CMOS battery? sometimes when they get too old, they cause weird problems, because when the computer is turned off, it relies on that battery to keep the CMOS intact.
Answer #16
sorry, double post because of the server not responding.
Answer #17
i have changed the CMOS battery twice trying to fix this problem i will try to update the BIOS
Answer #18
i have changed the CMOS battery twice trying to fix this problem i will try to update the BIOSI found someone with a similar problem. try shutting down your computer, remove the power cord, remove your CMOS battery, and let it sit for 10 minutes. then put the battery back in, put the cord back in, and power it up. it should install the correct drivers.
