Playing .mkv’s on a PS3

ever heard of mkv2vob? its built for the ps3 and can even turn dts into ac3 to make the file smaller….it will make it a mpg file with no quality loss…

I have Allok to convert files to .avi or .mp4 but the PS3 still struggles to play some of these mkv files. Any tips on how to convert them to a PS3 friendly format?

if you want to keep your small .mkv file size stored on your hard-disk without having to convert it (long process). Then their is a great tool called “PS3 Media Server” it lives trancodes movies on-the-fly for playback on your PS3, recommend you check it out for hassle free movie watching!
