how can i open port for utorrent and i don’t have a router.Is it possible.

Exactly. OR, your ISP may already have all ports closed on your network. If that’s the case, then you can forget about forwarding them, since your ISP won’t do it for sure.

Also some programs exsists and they work is to open ports..but i don’t remember the name of it…

guys,will it affect my speed if i don’t forward the port because i read in help file of utorrent that if i don’t open a port then my incoming connection will be limited is it true????

IMO that is bs. I don’t have any ports opened on utorrent and I d/t at my max of 1.3MB/s with good seeds. I also upload at my max of 80kb/s with a good amount of leechers. I have tried multiple times to open my ports but everytime it doesn’t work. The people at Port Forward told me I would have to buy some switch/adapter because my DSL modem doesn’t support NAT or somthing.

you only need to have manualy opened a port if you have a router, if you dont have a router, then the port should be open already
