Installing cracked Apps on iPhone 3GS

January 24th, 2020

Hey guys, I just got my new iPhone 3GS, i googled the sh*t out of google, and couldn’t find a clear way to do it, since most websites offer different methods which I found to be a little bit risky.
So, WBB, how did you do it, could anyone direct me to a website/tutorial which works 100% ?
Thank you.

First of all you need to jailbreak your phone
Pwnage Tool
http://www.iphonedownloadblog.com/2009/10/13/jailbreak-iphone-3g-3gs-3-1-2-pwnagetool/
or
Blackra1n
http://www.redmondpie.com/jailbreak-iphone-3.1.2-firmware-with-blackra1n-zni327/
Then open cydia and add the source
cydia.hackulo.us
and install appsync 3.1 and restart

can this void your warranty?

I am not sure.
The iPhone is running version 3.1.2, would that make any difference ?

A full restore should remove all signs of jailbreaking

okay so what if the phone completely busts beyond the point of repair, anyway that they can check if its jailbroken and then say no to fixing it? sorry im just kinda wary incase it breaks then they wont fix it and im stuck with a bricked iphone

Um if it can’t turn on at all i don’t think they could even tell that it’s jailbroken and is probably a hardware malfunction or if you bust it yourself or on accident i’m not sure if the warranty even covers that, i’m not an expert in this subject, all i know is that ive been jailbreaking my iPhone 3g since the day i got it, i got what seemed to be a brick many times but a simple restore in DFU mode always brought it back to life.

I downloaded Blackra1n and ran it, and it says “Entering Recovery…” and It’s stuck on that step.
What do I do ?

Try and wait a bit and if it still doesnt do anything try restarting the phone and running it again (Hold home button and power button together for 10 seconds force iphone off) and restart and try again, worst case scenario put into DFU and restore
Edit: Try killing the iTunes.exe process and the iTuneshelper process in task manager
