i need help with itunes /ipod

ok, all my music is on my ipod, but none of it is in my library, is there a way to put the music from the ipod onto the library? and ive tried just allowing hidden folders and dragging the files into the library, doesnt work cuz when the ipods not plugged in it cant find the files and has that exlamation mark by the side… so any help?

howd you get the music on the Ipod in the first place??? I have an Ipod Touch now, but if i remember correctly, by showing your hidden files and folders, make sure the ipod is in data mode, open it in windows explorer and there should be a folder called music with all of the mp3s stored under random names like AZRT.mp3 copy the folder in which they are all contained to your Music folder on the computer, and then drag that same folder once it has copied into Itunes, and voila, all your music will be on itunes

ok, but how do i get it in data mode?

ok i did it, but when i drag the folder, nothing happens? and when i pasted the folder it was like fuzzy and kind of see through instead of how all the other foldersn look? any help?
