January 26th, 2020

i want to test a problem on my pc,so i want to switch to onboard graphics how can i do that in win 7?
Answer #1
Start in Safe Mode and remove the card in “Device Manager”.
Then, shut off the computer, remove the card from the PC, and restart the computer. It should then recognize the on-board graphics and start-up normally
Answer #2
you do it in BIOS, when your comp is starting up click Del or if you’re on a laptop click what ever button you have to enter BIOS and there find something like Primary display adapter or graphics adapter and change from PCIe to onboard…
don’t do what the person above me said, that’s wrong…

Yeah, BIOS is another way.
Also you can remove the card, and clear the CMOS.. There’s a lot of ways.

I was just giving an example, relax buddy.
And there’s nothing too complicated when it comes to removing a battery, and waiting 5 minutes.. lol.

Answer #7
It’s all easy, it doesn’t matter. Up to you, and I’m not wrong because I’ve done it multiple times the ways I’ve listed. That person is just stubborn, apparently.
Answer #8
I’m stubborn?
What the hell is easier for you to do?
Entering BIOS, changing some options, removing cable to onboard card, to return back reverse that, DONE
OR
Entering safe mod, deleting drivers, opening the casing, removing the card, removing the battery to reset BIOS (which by the way can be done from within the BIOS itself much more easier), switching cable, and then reverse that + installing drivers again?
That’s what you said….wait i think i’m seeing it now, yes it’s easier….OHHH NOOOO….IT’s NOT….
And also, i was relaxed, up until i read your last post….now i’m aggravated…
Answer #9
You have it all wrong. All I told him to do was go into safe mode and remove the card in device manager, turn the PC off, then remove the card. Then I quoted your reply saying that’s one way too, and listed another way.
And then you said the user above me is wrong, which I didn’t even notice until before, so I said you were stubborn.
So I think you need to relax a little… Nobody should be angry at anything here, lol.
Answer #10
configuration screen>Device Management-> right click on your graphics card -> switch off
Than your onboard card should take it over
Answer #11
THE BIOS way worked thanks!
