How good is this computer for gaming?

August 5th, 2016

Hello.
I recently bought a computer, in fact, I bought it yesterday and I am currently in the process of downloading Modern Warfare 2 to play. THe only problem I have is that I do not know how well I can play it… Here are the specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 processor (2.5GHz, 4MB Cache) 2500Mhz Genuine Windows(R) 7 Home Premium
6 GB RAM
640 GB Hard Drive
Blu Ray Player
512 MB Dedicated ATI HD 4350
23″ Packard Bell Widescreen Moniter
If someone could tell me how well this will play it, that would be great.
Thanks

The computer is pretty good, you will be able to play the game well but probably not at max settings.

No. It’s not nearly good enough for a games rig.
Will be good for browsing the web and watching movies etc but complete fail at games.

Because it is
Diablo 2 is ancient.
And if you think that pc or anything worse give acceptable performance in MW2 then you have shockingly low standards.
It’s a fail for games.
End off.
It’s the GPU that lets it down most.. it’s a bit better than onboard graphics but fail at games.
Answer #10
Jock… The GPU is alright, it will play most new games, not on the highest settings, but it still WILL play them.

Yeah i wrote diablo in there because thats what im playing atm diablo 2 and COD6. And for low standards`? He can run it fine. Not maxed but fine. Do i wish i could run mine better? yes. So why do i have low standards? Seams you want games to run on maximum. Thats high standards since there aint nothing higher,. So no dude your comp will do fine id say.- No it wont be perfect. But you can play the game. someone already told him that it aint gonna run on max but it will do ok.

The answer is not good atall! you may think low details and lag is great but i wouldn’t ruin a good game playing like that.
The graphics card is aimed at home theatre pc’s not for games.
Answer #13
The topic might have said that, but my question did not. I know that I can play things on low settings and I am fine with that, no one needed the comments you put down, my question had already been answered thank you very much.
Answer #14
Everything is good, but you should change your graphics card like to Nvidia Geforce 9800 or something like that
Answer #15
You have a 23″ screen, the frame rates will be terrible. I answered your question correctly.
You can play on low details and lower the resolution, it’s goint to be really poor for COD6.

dude im not gonna argue with you about this. The fact is -no it could be better, mine too- But he- and I can run COD 6 lag free. Not on the highest maybe but we can. – If playing on medium settings on games is a good computer for browsing the net and watching movies. Well then we should just stop playing games i guess-. ? Yes he asked about how good it was for gaming. But i highly doubt all people think its only good for watching movies. But i could be wrong. Anyways. . . discussion over. You think it sux i think its ok.,
Answer #17
The computer will still be able to run it though which is what he wants.
Answer #18
Good but I would upgrade the GFX in few months ;>
