Help! I Messed up my iPhone!

August 4th, 2016

Hello .
I’ve messed up my iPhone today . What i did was install openSSH server and after that i went to install NES Simulator which caused my iPhone to freak out .
I can’t start anything because it goes on/off every 5 sec , like pressing wake/sleep button each 5 sec , showing some edit home screen window and like that each time forever.
Also my theme is gone , my theme icons are gone.. I dunno what to do!
It was unlocked jailbroken with 1.1.3 firmware .
I heard for that recovery mode in iPhone but would that lock my iPhone forever or something ( thats what i heard ) ?
Also how to backup the phone if iTunes don’t recognize it anymore ( it does in recovery mode )
Thanks for ur help!

Apple won’t even touch it. Once you jailbreak it, the warranty is void.

Actually, if you can restore it, Apple will service it.
I sent my phone/ipod touch in a few times after it had been jailbroke.

If iTunes doesn’t recognize it:
1) Turn the phone off, plug it into your computer via the cable and turn the sound on your computer up
2) (Put it into the DFU Recovery mode by:) Hold the home and power buttons down together for 10 seconds exactly and then release the power button but continue to hold the home button down for a further 15 seconds or so. Your computer should make the USB detected noise, but your iPhone screen should be blank.
3) Open iTunes and restore. This will mean you have to jailbreak your iphone again

Thats the best way of restoring it mate.

I can restore via iTunes when in recovery mode , but that would make all my files and phone records go away.. How can i back that up? Will I be able to upgrade to 2.0 jailbroken and unlocked firmware after restoring? I heard that i could mess that up or something
EDIT
I just checked iPhone logs , heres what i’ve got :
Seems like SpringBoard failed to start or something , i’ve had vista theme before and it restarted to default one .. Maybe its trying to change to vista theme but failing then it does wake/sleep thingy each 5 secs..
What IF i remove springboard off the phone? I removed SummerBoard.framework and phone couldn’t load after that apple at the start .
Then somehow SSH opened and i put it back ( thank god i backed it up )
Any suggestions? I didn’t find SpingBoard but only summerboard.framework thingy ..
I also uploaded the error log file , please look into it (its messy but i hope somebody understand)

If you have synced with iTunes recently, then your contacts, SMS, phone logs etc. will be backed up on your computer.
Use the method I suggested above to restore to an untouched firmware. Then download firmware 2.0 from WBB and upgrade to that in iTunes by pressing SHIFT + Restore button
Then let iTunes auto download firmware 2.1 and install THAT.
THEN jailbreak your iPhone again using QuickPwn, and then you can resync to restore all of your messages etc.
Long process but well worth it

I haven’t synced with itunes for a quite a long time..
And restoring is my last resort! Maybe if somebody take a look on the error file , or someon upload springboard.app maybe i can get it to work without loosing any data..

Restore the phone dude. What kind of data do you have on it? Phone numbers? Just put them in again….it’s not a big deal.
Answer #12
Phone numbers , lots of music and videos , programs etc.. Can someone upload me his springboard.app from the phone?
Answer #13
hold home and power for 10 seconds exactly whilst plugged into PC itunes, then after 19 seconds, release top button, hold the home button, itunes will say ipod in recovery detected, restore
