Gears of War 1 (solved)

hey guys i got problem with the video card setting every time i tried to change the setting it goes ok but the thing is that i can go back and it does when i hover over the accept is flashing and that is all is there anything wrong with it?
i google it but no one has solved it and i searched on warez but half the people were asking stupid question like how do i kill this and etc etc

is there any patches you need to update to ?
i didnt have this problem myself so im just throwing in ideas.

i got a patch but when i update it, it says old file not found however, a file of the same name was found. no update done since file contents do not match and i got this patch from yahoo answers

i think you have to install the game. update and then crack.
last time i played gears on pc was years ago
